KP Direct was founded in 2013 by two friends who saw a gap in the multifamily construction market: developers were spending as much time managing vendors as they were building. The idea was simple — inspired by the ACE Hardware cooperative model, they set out to build a company that could be a true one-stop shop for every finishing product a multifamily project needs.
Starting from a single warehouse in Ocala, Florida, we grew our relationships with suppliers, our team of installation professionals, and our reputation for showing up prepared and delivering on time. That commitment to the relationship — not just the transaction — is what turned first-time clients into long-term partners.
Today, KP Direct operates across two warehouse facilities and serves multifamily developers, property management companies, and general contractors throughout the Southeast. We supply 20+ product categories and provide turnkey installation services — all managed through a single point of contact from kickoff to completion.
